April Review

April was busier than expected.
Not because of one standout event, but because of volume and behaviour.

More events are being scheduled, and more are being spread out rather than clustered. Sports foundations are making full use of the final stretch of the season, turning remaining fixtures into a fundraising opportunity.

That shift creates something more valuable than short-term income. It builds consistency.

With more frequent events, patterns become clearer. What drives bidding, where momentum builds, and how audiences respond.

Over time, that sharpens how the offering is structured and delivered.

It also raises a useful question:
Are totals increasing because generosity is up, or because what's on offer is improving?

From what we’re seeing, it’s the latter.

Better catalogue construction, stronger audience alignment and more deliberate event design are driving results. Generosity is there, but it needs the right conditions to show up.

April has been a clear example of that.

More events, better spread, stronger insight.
