Reflections on 2025

EXCEED GIVING
We’re nearing the end of one of the toughest economic years I can remember.
On the events side, one thing’s clear: donors are still giving, but they’re more considered. They’re asking better questions, looking for clarity, and wanting real confidence in both the cause and the experience.
That doesn’t feel like hesitation to me. It feels like a more thoughtful kind of generosity.
As fundraisers, it puts the onus on us to show up with transparency, honesty and care. When someone chooses to give, that trust has to be earned, not assumed.
Interested to hear what others are seeing this season. Are you noticing a shift too?
